On Long Island DC9 has been a strong voice for ending corruption and exploitation in the Long Island school construction industry. They were very influential in our most recent Workers’ Rights Board on this issue, and you can read about how to join them in the fight for accountability in our Workers’ Rights Board hearing report here.
Our 2026 Awards Dinner less than a month away! We hope you’ll join us to honor DC9 IUPAT, Mary Dewar, Bend the Arc, and the Long Island Immigration Alliance. If you can’t make it but would still like to support please leave a donation!
And stay tuned for future spotlights on our other honorees!
Thank you for being a friend of LIJWJ, and we’re glad to be alongside you in the fight for workers’ rights!
In solidarity,
Long Island Jobs with Justice
