Kyle Pfalzer

Kyle was born and raised on LI until leaving to study history in West Virginia. After almost a decade in the MidAtlantic region Kyle returned home to LI and jumped into organizing work. Kyle was a volunteer organizer from 2018-2022 with several local organizations working on many issues including climate, housing, and workplace democracy.  In fall 2022 Kyle joined LIJWJ as office administrator and has since expanded into digital organizing and fundraising roles.

Following the February 2024 Workers’ Rights Board hearing for Starbucks workers, Kyle’s blend of historian training and commitment to the workers’ movement was put to use in authoring the report created from the workers’ testimony. The majority of LIJWJ’s social media, graphic design, and other messaging are handled by Kyle to translate our work, including WRBs, into communications that rally our followers to the causes of local workers.
